Sally Hoffmann, Flute
Sally has 40+ years experience teaching private flute. She has many of the top flutists in ILMEA and Bloomington-Normal area schools and Bloomington-Normal Youth Symphony. Sally prepares her students with Auditions, Chair/Band placement, Band and Orchestra music. She prepares her students for solo and ensemble competition and provides piano accompaniment for them.
Judith Dicker, Oboe
Judith Dicker is an Assistant Professor at Illinois State University. She holds a M.M. degree in Oboe Performance from Indiana University, and a B.S. in Music Education from State University of New York at Potsdam. Formerly on the faculty of Wichita State University and Indiana University at South Bend, and has taught at the Musikschule Gelsenkirchen in Germany. Has performed as principal oboist with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and the South Bend Symphony, and as oboist with the Toledo Symphony and the Gelsenkirchen Philharmonic Orchester in Germany.
Michael Dicker, Bassoon
Mr. Dicker has earned degrees from UCLA, The Julliard School, The University of Michigan. His teachers have included: Norman Herzberg, Harold Goltzer, L. Hugh Cooper, Mitchell Lurie and Mehli Mehta. Mr. Dicker was also a scholarship student at the Music Academy of the West. Mr. Dicker has been a member of the faculty at Illinois State University since 1986. In addition to teaching bassoon and coaching woodwind chamber music, he has been active in teaching music literature and methods courses. His former bassoon students currently hold playing and teaching positions in the New York Philharmonic, National Orchestra of Portugal, Wichita Symphony, Nordwest-Deutsche Philharmonie, Moorhead State University, New Mexico State University. He was honored as School of Music Outstanding Teacher of the Year, 1994-1995.

Bill Toovey is a 30-plus year teaching veteran in public school music education in Illinois and Colorado. Lessons are designed for students of all ages and ability levels. Mr. Toovey is also available for coaching sessions
