NORMAL WEST BANDS TEXT ALERTS
The Normal West Bands send text message alerts in order to communicate with band members and their families. Examples of message content include: important announcements, inclement weather plans, upcoming deadline reminders, and travel updates when the band is on the road. Follow the instructions below to sign up to receive the alerts via text message or email. Messages are sent by the Bands free of charge; standard text messaging rates from your cellular provider may apply.
To make sure that the messages you receive are relevant, we have created multiple channels. We hope all band members and their families will subscribe to @nwbands for concert band and general information. We have also created @nwmb for Marching Band families, @nwjazz for Jazz families, @nwguard for Color Guard families, @nwdrums for Marching Band Drum Line and Front Ensemble families, and @mblea for the Marching Band Leadership Team.
Note: The @ is important - text message subscriptions will not work without it.
